The Killer of 28-year-old Akhil Chopra was sentenced to life in prison in a Houston court on June 23.
Howard Dale Bellamy shot Chopra to death on Aug. 11, 2005, while he was meditating during lunch break at Joseph A. Fiorenza Park on Eldridge Road in southwest Houston. [more] | 80th birthday celebration
